Doctoral researcher at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of Genoa. Her work focuses on political discourse analysis and on Italian parliamentary debate, with particular attention to how public issues evolve over the long run and to quantitative methods applied to text.
She carries out her research independently, as part of her doctorate. She is open to research collaborations, textual data analysis and projects in the social sciences.
This site makes the entire archive of speeches delivered in the Italian Chamber of Deputies between 1948 and 2022 searchable: 2,454,718 interventions, more than 470 million words, 5,870 speakers and 76 parliamentary groups. It allows searching by word, by member of parliament, by political group and by period, exporting results for analysis, and browsing statistics on how Italian public debate evolved — from the presence of women in the Chamber to the trajectory of individual themes over time.

The texts come from the ItaParlCorpus dataset by Joshua Cova (Harvard Dataverse), which turned the verbatim reports of the entire republican period into machine-readable data. The processing, the thematic categories and the statistics presented on this site were developed in support of doctoral research at the Department of Political Science and International Relations (DISPI), University of Genoa. The research is supervised by Prof. Piero Graglia, full professor of History of International Relations at the University of Milan.
